my wife and i were sitting in our back yard and out of nowhere like a laser beam a peregrine falcon swooped in not 3 feet from us and captured a sparrow in our tombstone rose tree and took off with it in its mouth- my wife says she has been living here (our property ) for years- any thoughts?
we also have bob cats that show up sometimes in our front porch just looking and the other day a road runner seemed to appear out of nowhere 10 feet to the south of me in the same secluded backyard difficult to access when i was reading my favorite book
and we also have a pod of javelina that daily circumvent our property as part of their daily trek to the south east of us-
