Hi. I was just wondering if you could answer some questions that I have… What does it mean if you have the same dream a lot of times? (it can be years between the times you dream it, doesn’t have to be in the same week or year or anything). Also.. Is it normal to have a lot of nightmares when you are little? I didn’t have a good dream (that I remembered) until 3rd grade. Does it mean anything to have bad dreams when you are little? I also have a dream that I really want you to have a look at. I think and think about it, but I can’t for the life of me find out what it means. Anyway, this comment is getting long so just email me if you have time to intercept my dream.

I had a dream not long ago, I was in what I would consider the home of my “dreams” it was beautiful and I saw my self walking down the stairs which I could see a long tall window and over it I saw lightning, and then rain, a strom was coming, and then all of the sudden a tonado hit, and I am from california, so we dont get much of those, well in the dream nothing happen to the house but I was so sad in my dream, I dont know if that means that if I get my dream house I wont be happy or if it predits troubles for my future?
have you ever gotten questions about ill relatives saying goodbye in your dreams, then in real life they die? I would love to read an article about that as that happend to me in feb, with 3 seperate dreams, and I dont know if they all were an indication of what was to come. Anyways I enjoy your website.

I was responding to someone I know who also had a similar dream.

I wonder if some of us aren’t inadvertantly plugging into the collective unconsciousness and perhaps dialing in to great changes on the horizon. I bet if we were able to poll more dreamers, we would see consistencies. Wouldn’t that be cool?

This is a very appropriate perspective – much more practical. This way of looking at these dream symbols allows us to apply them to our life and behavior in a practical way – I really like that – thank you as always.

I’ve recently just used a similar phrase (”bigger pattern of smaller cracks” ) in a response to another comment (I think it was the Owl post in which you also commented). Love that analogy – thanks for the connection.

Wow – that is a good way to look at it. I read someplace that lightening is the bigger pattern of smaller cracks in our lives.

Lightning reminds us the powers of Mother Nature and ‘Higher sources’ are beyond our control. No matter what external events seem to cloud your judgment or ignite fear within you, remind yourself perceived crisis only lasts as long as you choose to buy into the illusion of your own fear. Anxiety dreams perform their role very well. They capture your attention and direct it toward something you may be avoiding. When you stop avoiding the source of fear, then your dream will have done its job. You can work through it.
