You did it again! (5 is my mysterious, lucky #)
Thanks for the link to one of my relevant posts.
Angels are always with us. Spirit may visit intermittently in dreams, yet we can learn to sense unconditional presence around us right now.

Hi Liara!

I like that: <blockquote>"Feathers are a reassuring reminder that your guardian angels are nearby & you have nothing to fear."</blockquote>

Reading that made me smile, and brought forth some bonzer visuals :-)

It ties in with your <a href="http://blog.dreambuilders.com.au/journal/2008/1/12/where-are-they-when-you-need-them.html" rel="nofollow">"Where Are They When You Need Them?" post here.</a>

Very keen about Hagerman, New Mexico. Eagle Feather (as I do) will appreciate this nugget added to his (already) amazing experience!

Thanks again!

Love & high five's,
A.

I value the depth of this interpretation and the doors of possibility that are opened. Feathers are also a reassuring reminder that your guardain angels are nearby and you have nothing to fear.

Hagerman, N.M. is a geographic area where tornado occurrences are significantly above average. This implies a concentration of energy vibration and reminds you travel between worlds is possible.

Hi Dove!

As always, thank you for your profound observations.

Your insights contribute another layer of understanding to the realm of interpretation.

I really appreciate your honesty, and for providing us/me with a new perspective in which to see.

Again, thanks so much for sharing.

Brightest blessings to you,
A

I'm so grateful for this post, because it spurred a glorious, somewhat similar experience I had in the past. I was living in a wonderful woodsy area, totally surrounded by woods, very secluded, sitting outside in a lounge chair. It was right before a major move (geographical) in my life. My leg was bent, knee pointing upward -- and all of a sudden a HUGE butterfly landed on my knee! I've had tiny butterflies land on me, but this was amazing -- it was so big. I was stunned, it was breathtaking. It seemed like a dream.

I got very still, as its sweet wings fanned and touched my leg (omg, it felt so wonderful) -- it was truly overwhelming, the joy of it, the realization that it represented something very significant about to happen in my life (which proved to be true) -- I couldn't hold back the tears.

It seemed to be right at home on my knee :) And it sat there for such a long time, I don't remember the moment when it flew away.

Winged ones are so very prominent in my life, many winged totems :) I think if birds were to land on me like that -- omg, what a joy that would be. I like to think that someday I'll be so magical that the crow (one of my main totems) will come land on my arm when I summon it, heh ;)

Interestingly, 1977 was a pivotal year in my life... I hesitate sharing, but here's what came to me about this person's experience. To me, fasting is an extreme (imbalance). That is, I actually feel it is harmful to the body. I think the old car could be representing him, his body, and his old beliefs, this old practice or ritual of fasting.

I've starved myself most of my adult life -- first via anorexic behavior in my younger years and then the "lofty" practice of "vegetarianism," and later still, veganism. It has only been recent that it has come to me that even these practices are an extreme -- for me, a masked version of my former anorexic behavior...

To wrap this up, my health first began to improve when I began to eat like, well, birds :) That is, rather than these versions of starvation and extreme of three meals per day (yes, that's a type of starvation too, waiting hours and hours until one is "starving" or very hungry to eat), I began to eat throughout the day, every few hours. It's very freeing actually. I never overeat, I have no food addictions...

Hey, these were just my "wild" thoughts ;) but perhaps at least one message (I have seen that messages often tend to be multi-layered) from the birds was, "Hey, don't starve yourself, precious one, eat like us for happiness, health and freedom." :)

Peace,
Dove
